Altpoint is seeking an energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic Office Manager to support our team and elevate our work environment. The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, efficient, independent, tackles problems head on, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an organization. As Altpoint’s Office Manager, you will keep the office and operations running smoothly, be the first point of contact for visitors, create a pleasant and uplifting work environment, and support the executive team. You will be a critical member of the Altpoint family and have significant exposure to the world of venture capital and start-ups. This is a full-time position with benefits based in the Flatiron/NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan.

Responsibilities:
• Support all administrative needs of Managing Director/Partner (assist with travel, scheduling, expenses, messages, etc)  
• Proactively lead office management responsibilities
• Answer phones, screen messages, and coordinate meetings
• Greet guests, schedule catering, and provide refreshments for meetings as needed
• Take the lead on team building opportunities and help plan fun, innovative social events
• Manage conference room bookings and other logistical requests
• Ensure office is always adequately stocked with food, refreshments, and supplies
• Keep common office spaces (e.g. kitchen, waiting area) clean, tidy, and presentable
• Troubleshoot and ensure smooth resolution of equipment and infrastructure issues
• Maintain smooth communication and coordination with other Altpoint offices / personnel in Los Angeles and Greenwich
• Assist with filing and organization as needed
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
• Assist investment team with ad hoc projects and deliverables
  

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-7 years of experience in administrative support role
• Must be high energy, proactive, and comfortable in a small, nimble, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal guidance
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks with short deadlines and changing priorities
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Strong communicator who anticipates and addresses relevant tasks and responsibilities ahead of time
• Innate curiosity for discovering and implementing new technologies and tools that will support a smoothly functioning office environment
